Orbit: Diary & Emotions

Orbit was born from a real need: having a single place where emotions, habits, and thoughts coexist without noise. Not a planner. Not a cold tracker. An intimate space where what you feel finally has somewhere to go.

Designed and developed entirely by Imori Studio, Orbit is our first consumer app — a product that combines visual care, cutting-edge technology, and a deep attention to the user's emotional experience.

Core Features

Emotion Bottle

Each day, pour your emotions into an animated bottle. Layers build without mixing — like sand in glass — showing the real sequence of how you felt throughout the day. The historical collection of bottles, 'The Shelf', lets you see your emotional journey month by month in a visual and poetic way.

Visual Diary

A free canvas where you can write, draw, or simply let thoughts go. No rigid forms, no required fields. Just a blank page — customizable with dots, lines, or texture — where your thoughts take whatever shape they need.

Emotion Analysis

Orbit finds your patterns for you. Mood Trend, Activity Distribution, and Emotion Timeline: visualizations that turn emotional data into real insights. All data is exportable as a PDF to share with a therapist or keep for your personal archive.

The Color System

Orbit has its own emotional spectrum: every emotion is paired with a specific color. Not labels. A visual language for recognizing what you feel without having to explain it.

The same system also governs activity categories, turning the calendar into a visual map of your day at a glance. Since the entire app is built around color, we integrated advanced accessibility modes for the most common forms of color blindness — because a space for emotions should truly be for everyone.

Mobile Engineering Excellence

Built with React Native and Expo, Orbit leverages the power of Skia for smooth bottle animations and Reanimated for a responsive, modern interface.
